Sometimes when we wait we become discouraged.

Sometimes when we wait our thoughts become negative.

Sometimes waiting causes us to think and new ideas are formed, new goals are set.

I work part time at a Funeral Home. Sometimes people wait in line anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 hours just to express their sympathy to the family. Can you imagine waiting for three hours just to have a minute or less to express your sorrow, your love, your concern? People who have waited that long have said to me, "That’s okay. I came to let them know that I care, and it does not matter to me how long it took. People like this know what it means to be patient, to wait, to be of Good Courage. The wait is worth it because their goal is achieved.

Let us not tire as we wait for the return of the Lord. Let us be of good courage. Let us ask God to strengthen us as we wait. We have the goal of Life Eternal with our Lord.

BE OF GOOD COURAGE - It is worth waiting for.

WE PRAY: Lord God, when I come to you in prayer, give me the courage to wait for the answer that you will give to me when you know that I am ready to receive it. AMEN.
